Registration level ~ Dancing for $250

Businesses who select the Dancing level can add all the details as outlined in the Clapping level as well as additional links to selected URLs or social media and one PDF document. Adding a logo or graphic, additional links or a PDF are totally optional and costs $250 per category and/or community area for 12 months to cover the additional cost of layout and design and comes with additional benefits. Dancing registrations will:

 

  • be listed on the introduction/landing page of their categories with a link to their blog post.

  • As well as drawing more attention to their listing, businesses who add their logo or a graphic are listed alphabetically in their sub-section or category and community area, above those businesses who choose to list for free and do not add a logo.

  • When clicked the logo/graphic will provide a direct link to that business’s website which will open in a new window.

  • If a website or email address is provided they will also be live links to open a new page or default email composer. If a URL is to a social media site, we will insert the relevant logo.

  • To include a logo simply tick the box on the registration form.

All businesses will be sent a Statement of Inclusion (SOI) which confirms the details of the registration. Businesses and services will be included in the local area of their selected category.

 

Logos, links and PDF will be online for 12 months from confirmation of SOI. A 14 day invoice with payment methods is issued once all business information is confirmed and uploaded to website. Late payments will result in all logos, graphics. PDF and links of that business being removed from site until account is settled. Renewal reminders are issued one month before registration expires.

Amendments - all text amendments are free at all times. Simply email or phone with your changes (business log-in may become a feature in the future). To change a logo or photo with another image is $35 per logo/picture change within your 12 month registration period. Special offers do not apply.

 

How businesses can become involved

1. All contact details

Yes

Businesses can include contact details including address, phone, fax, email, web and hours. Please note, however, that there will be no active link to the web or email.

2. Child friendly facilities

Yes

Businesses can identify child friendly facilities. These will be represented by the list of words on the Summary page.

3. Hours, age, price, parking and transport

Yes

We are also giving businesses the opportunity to identify price range, age suitability, where breastfeeding is welcome, naming the closest street to park and the closest bus number or train station if within walking distance with toddlers or a pram

4. Description of business

75 words

Businesses can include a brief description of their products or services. This should be a couple of sentences or approximately 75 words. Descriptions may be edited if they exceed this by too much, spell checked or edited for grammatical consistency throughout Children's Guide.

5. Include logo / graphic

Yes

Businesses may add a logo or small graphic which will appear prominently next to your address details, and will list your business above businesses that choose to list for free. When clicked, your logo also opens up your website in a new window.

6. Website link

Yes

Your web address listed with your contact details becomes a live link opening your website in a new window.

7. Email link

Yes

Your email address listed with your contact details becomes a live link and will open a reader's default email composer with your email ready in the "To" field.
8. Link to your social media (we insert the relevant icons) or other external sites

Yes, up to 4

You may provide up to 4 addresses for websites which also promote your business. These can be social media sites, your page in another online or industry directory, online store selling your product, review site or other website relating to your business.
9. Downloadable PDF

Yes, 1

Businesses can provide a PDF document which readers can download. This can be a registration form, price list, timetable, menu, newsletter or general information package. There is no limit on the number of pages of the PDF document, just the size.
10. Blog post for reader feedback and discussion

Yes

Children's Guide will publish a Blog post dedicated solely to your business based on the description you provide, and link back to your listing in Children's Guide. This will enable readers to directly comment on that business's product or service providing both that business and other readers with feedback
11. Photo gallery

Yes, 1

No photos or photo gallery on the Children's Guide website, but one photo can be provided for use in the blog.
