Most kids don’t like
driving or travelling too long or too frequently, so
road trips or tours should be limited or
reconsidered. Also if you plan your trip around just
one location such as another city, town or overseas
destination, make sure that there is plenty for the
kids to do. Kids don’t want to spend their time
walking or being pushed in their prams around old
churches and museums. Budget for a nanny or consider
accommodation with a kids club while mum and dad do
other things. Get a nanny during sleep times in the
afternoon while parents go to a gallery, or in the
evenings during dinner. Pack light. Kids items can
take up a lot of space but kids can’t always help to
carry.
